Burbank Inbound Marketing Club 8 July 2010

Last night we had our 2nd Burbank Inbound Marketing Club meeting. Josh Ross from Josh Ross Creative Guest Starred as a Social Media Whiz, and pinch hit regarding Mac instruction (I'm still a PC guy).

Some great connections were made and it was lots of fun. The topic was using Google Places, and nearly everyone got themselves listed as a business on Google's map platform.

Here's some of the feedback:

"Thank you so much.  I lof this, especially that we

accomplish a product while we are here!!"   K.M.

"Love the workshop!"   J.T

"I love coming here. It's fun and I understand what you teach me."  N.H.

"So happy to be invited to this group. Love to see step by step things."  A.L.

Next week on Tuesday the 13th, we will focus on posting visual and written content on Facebook Fan Pages (Business Pages) using Facebook's built-in viral capabilities.  In other words, how to promote your business page without having to send out repeated (read: Annoying) invitations over and over to friends who may not even use your products or service!

If you'd like to come to the next meeting, RSVP at the Really Simple Social Media fan page on Facebook.

If you've never been to my Expand Your Business Using Social Media seminar, view the 5 part series online before coming to the Club!  The seminar gives a birds-eye view of social media, and explains some fundementals that are very helpful to know beforehand.

Til Tuesday!
